I often try to journal but it is not easy for me so, I will try to keep things simple. I am in my early 50's and I am enjoying the fruits of age and what I hope is wisdom. I wear my hair in Sisterlocks (tm). I love my sister locks.
I am doing this because it was suggested that I try this. This is my maybe 4th attempt at blogging so if it is not good just smile anyway.
I am from the great state of Pennsylvania, born and raised. My siblings are still there as well as most of my other extended family, aunts, uncles and cousins.
We moved to Texas after my 12 year military career and the birth of our beautiful daughter, some 14 years ago. I miss Philly but I do enjoy being here. We live a simple life and enjoy each other.
I am a member of the DFW Sisterlock group and until now not very talkative in that group being a shy and introverted person I feel a little left out of all the conversations. Usually because I am somewhere hiding in back round. I am a watcher.
I will not be an avid poster to the blog so do be patient. I will try to keep it up to date as great things good and bad happen.
